Morning All,

This is my first tutorial so please let me know how you find it (it will be picture heavy!).

Well to start here is my finished spinner card.

Right, Lets get started.

Cut you Card to be 22.5cm x 15cm and then score at 7.5 from both ends (you will get a slight overhang at either end)

Then you fold the first fold mountain (up) and the second Valley (down).

Choose you papers and cut to fit the panels on the front of the card (I also did the back). I cut four to be 7.3cm x 14.8cm and 2 to 6.8 x 14.8. But you do whatever takes your fancy. Here are the papers i used.

Before sticking them on i inked the edges with distress ink (Walnut stain) to complete the shabby Chic look!

Once everything is adhered the front (leave the back for later) choose you die cutter for the aperture. Circles are good but i don’t have those so scalloped Circles for me.

So on your mountain fold (with the front of your card on your cutting mat) pop your die-cutter in the position you like and then fold the back of your card over (so you cut through the front and middle but not the back). You will want to make sure you go through a few times to make sure it has gone all the way through!

Now to make the spinner! Using your nesting die-cutters again choose the next size down and cut out 2 pieces of plan card (same as card blank). Then cut a length of craft wire and sandwich between the two. Glue together and decorated as you like!

spinner7

To attach the spinner to the card blank pop the wire in the mountain fold and adhere the back papers with aperture cut from them (i popped the middle and front back paper on and drew around aperture and then die cut out.)

Here is your completed spinner card blank.

Now the fun of decorating begins!

I would love to see your creations!

Well happy crafting to you all!
