I was having a play last night (had a few disasters. Think i need more sleep!) Hopefully i will sort those out and have more crafty pics for you later.
But it did make a big ben Card! It uses a Kaiser Craft Stamp for the postage background and Papermania stamp of Big Ben.-
Hope you are having a crafty Day!
This Card was inspired by this wonderful post (http://stampinginspiredby.blogspot.co.uk/2010/03/another-little-tutorial.html), I have used both the techniques before but the colours where amazing so i had to have a go!
The larger mat is made by using Distress ink and then splatting water onto it (one of my Favorite techniques!) and the smaller mat uses white card and embossing powder that resists the Distress ink! So much fun as i love getting inky!
Here are some close-ups
Went a bit multi coloured on the background here but if you have the distress ink i always feel the need to use it!
The tag here uses Kaisercraft stamps. The Butterflies on the front of the card are also KasierCraft.
I am going to submit this card to Split Coast stampers for their new mixed media challenge (it was shiny and matt this time!)
See you all soon
Well i thought i should really make some Valentines Cards! So here they are. They use the Sketch SC421 from Spilt Coast Stampers ( Oh How love that site!)
The papers are by Kate Knight (totally tropical) and the embellishments We are memory Keepers (Which i have had for a while!)
And Here is a close up of the sentiment
And here is Card number two
Hope this inspires you to give the card sketch a go!
See you soon
This is another project from our craft evening! I love the highlighter pen technique so I made another card! I went for a masculine card this time.
I used stamps from papermania (Portobello Road) and Hampton arts (Boys) and some union flag ribbon!
Lets us know what you think.
So once again i owe my latest challenge to ‘Craft Stamper’ magazine. (August 2012 Issue)
This technique uses Highlighter pens and Distress ink to create a great back ground.
And here is my finished creation. I have to say that i love this card and technique.
So come on fellow crafters get out those highlighters and have a go!
Well Yesterday was my step-Dads birthday so here are his cards!
This up, up and away balloon themed Birthday card Was made using black and white card, Distress ink, KaiserCraft papers (Timeless) and Bakers Twine.
I love the contrast with the rainbow coloured tag and the black card.
The other King for a day inspired card i made is also in black and white and uses Kaisercraft paper from the same pad.
Hope you enjoy!
Here is another card creation. This time a thank you card.
I made this card by using distress ink on some white card then uses a background stamp again with distress ink in a contrasting colour. I used some wastage from using my nestabilties as a frame and then decorated with butterflies and stamped dragonflies!
Hope you enjoy and happy crafting!
